Hello --name--

SUMMER, that glorious season of berry-pickin’, easy vacations, long walks on the beach or casting a line for blue-gill and trout is finally here. Here are a few things that might make your season richer:

S  Spread kindness to family, and friends. How about to a veteran?

U  Use your talents to help one in need; mow a lawn, run an errand or care for their kids.

M  Memorize a poem or verse in the Bible. Try Psalm 23.

M  Make a lasting memory. Pick cherries with your grandchild, visit a library.

E  Enjoy the best summer has to offer and give thanks to God for the precious moments.

R  Read a good book, such as “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen, “Les Miserables” by Victor Hugo and “The Sacrifice” by Robert Whitlow.

As you plan your summer vacation, think about a trip to Pentwater, Michigan, where our new suspense thriller, The Camelot Conspiracy, will have its debut on August 15th. It will not be in stores until mid to late September. The Pentwater Library is hosting a book talk and will have for sale the first copies of our next novel. Pentwater is a quaint beach front town about halfway up the western side of Michigan. It has a State Park, beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants and B&B’s.

Some of the early scenes in The Camelot Conspiracy occur in Pentwater. After tangling with a U.S. Senator, Kat Kowicki, the TV reporter from our earlier books, seeks refuge at the family home on the shore of Lake Pentwater which flows into Lake Michigan. When her life becomes embroiled in suspense as she investigates new information about the John F. Kennedy assassination, Kat is shocked to discover she is in danger, and the target of a new conspiracy to obstruct her inquiry.

At 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 15th, we will be addressing our readers and visitors to Pentwater, at the Centenary United Methodist Church, which the library has reserved for the event. The church is on the corner of the main street (Bus.31 or Hancock) and First Street. For lodging, there are B&B’s listed at www.pentwatermichigan.com. We are planning a group dinner at 5:00pm for those friends and fans that make early reservations, as long as seats are available. Contact us at our web site for more information about the dinner cost and to Authors of Facing Justicereserve this dinner event. There is no cost for the book talk itself, unless you purchase the book. Hope to see you there!

Blessings and Happy reading,

Diane and David Munson
