We wish each of our friends and readers a Blessed new year and a new decade. In case you haven't noticed, we have a new novel releasing February first. Hero's Ransom will be available at your favorite store or on-line merchant. We are busy mixing up a new batch of intrigue that will feature some of the characters you've come to know as friends.

Besides providing you with a list of our book signing appearances and speaking engagements for the next few months, we thought we'd test the memory and detective skills of those who follow our writing efforts. We will send a copy of Hero's Ransom (or one of our other novels) to the first two readers to send us an email with the answer to the following question:

• David was the case agent who arrested a major drug dealer who went on to write a memoir about his life and the events surrounding his arrest in Chicago by David. That memoir became a movie. What was the name of the drug dealer?
