Ziva, your tender send off was rich with moments of nostalgia, and betrayal, leading to your redemption. Your difficult past as the daughter of a Mossad agent drove anger into your bones, stealing your present happiness, and spoiling your future. But wait. A friend who loved you would not let you be lost. Special Agent Tony DeNozzo traveled the world for months until he found you.
He helped to restore your zest for life. Leaving you behind in Israel was the hardest thing he has ever done. The final scene with ‘Ric and Ilsa’ in Casablanca comes to mind. Along with Tony, we’ve shed a few tears. Goodbye, Ziva. You will be missed by all, especially by Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
He is bloodied, but remains unbroken. Gibbs and the rest of the NCIS team will fight on, battling terrorism with all they’ve got. May all who read this blog find the fortitude and courage of Gibbs to keep on truckin’. Mark Harmon, we’re counting on you to deliver a swift, knockout punch to Parsa and the rest of his twisted, evil empire. We’ll be watching!

Casablanca is exactly what I thought of and almost expected Ziva or Tony to say the equivalent of “We’ll always have Paris.”
Gibbs will take his team on to more victories, but it’ll be interesting to see who the new female member will be.
Missed yet another NCIS episode I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO MISS – huge sigh here – seems something pressing happens when my favorite show is on – nearly every week – something not quite fair about that. Where does one go to see a re-run without waiting to the end of the season?
This was the show I was waiting for all summer – grrrr.
Thanks for not ruining the show for those of us delinquents – I knew she was going off – didn’t know how – still want to see it.

Okay, I’m officially confused. Who is Parsa? Are you referring to the agent who was out to get Gibbs at the end of last season? If so, I thought his name was Parsons. If not, who is he? And back to the guy I thought was Parsons – he was bad, then good, then bad, again. Help me. I’m lost.
Parsons was the geeky looking investigator that had his sights set on Gibbs. He had a sudden conversion. Now he’s a team player on Gibbs’ side. Parsa is the Pakistani terrorist who was behind the bombings in the last two episodes, one of which killed SecNav. Only his photograph has been shown thus far. The confusion results when the writers edited an existing episode, to make room for a few new scenes to explain Ziva’s leaving the show. This has contributed to the last two episodes being disjointed.
Perhaps it is my romantic side, but I think they left a little wiggle space for Ziva to return to the show at a later time or season. For now, Shalom Ziva.
Cindy and Buzz are correct. There’s a slim chance that Ziva could still return to the show, assuming that she doesn’t find something better.
I cried through the sceens with Ziva and Tony but I am glad they didnt kill her off. I am a big fan of her character and am hoping Ziva will return. I just don’t see the connection with the other girls that have been on the show. I love the show and hope the storyline only gets stronge.
Why is NCIS making Tony act so silly and stupid. He is a good actor and has the ability that Gary Grant and Robert Wagner had in their characters. Don’t mess up a good thing. Yes, Ziva left and I really enjoyed her character and it will be hard to replace her but just stick with what has been working. Why not give Gibbs a good love interest this season. It’s his turn.
