After last week’s episode Return to Sender, (which we panned) we wrote that if this week’s show turned out as bad, we would pass on writing a critique. Again in Homefront, the producers have largely served up another loser. Michael Weatherly, who plays “Very Special Agent” Anthony DiNozzo, was nowhere to be seen, although his name was mentioned a few times.

An historical event is featured. For the first time in history, a non-news show got to shoot actual scenes inside the White House (the People’s House). The producers deserve some credit for awkwardly fitting this sequence into a show where it didn’t seem to fit. But, who could pass up such an opportunity?

Another worthy moment happens when the military family is reunited near the end. Tears filled our eyes and we thank all our men and women in uniform for their service to our country.

Regarding this episode, we’ve said too much already. The show is to be continued for the next two, and went off the air bloody and gore-filled once again. Boo to the writers.

Be Blessed, Diane and David Munson
